Reading books about business

9 February 2005 No Comment

There is a great post on the blog site Slacker Manager entitled, “How to read a business book” which makes for a good read.
I certainly believe in the power of opening your mind to new business and management ideas by reading on the subject of business and management.

I am currently reading Good to Great by Jim Collins which was inspired by my reading of another blog post . I am throughly enjoying the book and hope to post my first book review here soon. I even noted watching an interview of the S.A. Unilver Foods CEO, Kees Kruythoff, on Summit T.V. that he was deeply influenced by the concepts contained in this book.

So watch this blog for a post on my take on Good to Great.
