As reported in Business Report, the National Credit Regulator has started operating in terms of the National Credit Act from the 1st June 2006.
The article reports that the” National Credit Regulator is created to enforce the Act and to regulate credit providers, credit bureaux and debt counsellors. It further receives and investigates complaints, and educates consumers of their rights under The Act.”
